We have a DAT recording, but there is severe distortion on it. BBC Radio Derby recorded and broadcast the whole thing, so there should be some FM recordings and maybe even a tape gathering dust in a Beeb cabinet. |

This was an open-air concert held in Derby marketplace as part of the Big City Bash, a 2 week arts extravaganza. We were playing as part of an afternoon of electronic music sponsored by the Soundscapes radio programme, which was also to broadcast the entire gig live. Michael Shipway and Bekki Williams also performed. This one should have worked well. We felt confident after Jodrell, the atmosphere was laid back (playing outside in beautiful weather). But things didn't quite work out. We had some equipment problems, and the fixed format of the set caused a bit of stress. We had to play for just half an hour, with a break near the middle for studio idents. Half an hour is barely enough time to get started!
